Privacy Policy

Audette is a personal listening tracker for audiobooks, podcasts, and long-form audio, published at audette.app. This policy describes what data the Audette app collects, where it is stored, and what you can do with it.
Data we collect
- Account data. Your email address and authentication credentials, used to sign you in and identify your account.
- Listening data. The titles you track, their metadata, your listening states and dates, progress notes, ratings, private notes, series, lists, wishlist entries, and podcast follows.
- Cover images. Cover images you attach to titles in your library.
- Purchase state. Whether your account has an active Audette Plus purchase. Audette never receives your payment card or billing details.
Where your data is stored and who processes it
- Supabase provides authentication (your account email and sign-in) and storage for cover images.
- Railway hosts the Postgres database where Audette stores your listening data.
- Apple App Store and Google Play process Audette Plus purchases, payments, and refunds. Payment details stay with Apple or Google.
- RevenueCat processes purchase state: it receives the store transaction and your Audette account identifier so your Audette Plus access can be verified across your devices.
Audette does not sell your data and does not share it with anyone beyond the processors listed above.
No ads and no third-party analytics
Audette contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. This website is a static page and sets no tracking cookies.
Your data is yours
- Export. You can retrieve a complete machine-readable backup of your listening data at any time from Settings, free of charge.
- Deletion. You can permanently delete your account and all personal data from Settings in the app. Deletion removes your account data, listening data, and cover images. Deleting your account does not refund store purchases; request refunds through Apple or Google before deleting your account.
Changes to this policy
Changes are posted on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes are also communicated inside the app.
